What to expect
Bogen Ranch Bruno is home to the Schladming-Dachstein archery club and sits at the edge of the forest in Rohrmoos-Untertal. On the 3D course, you stalk from station to station, taking aim at life-sized foam animal figures — deer, chamois, stag or bear. Varied shooting positions with uphill and downhill shots demand concentration and body awareness. Before your first round, you'll get a free introduction from the certified instructors at the practice range — after a few arrows, the technique clicks. And for a break along the way, there's a cosy rest stop, the 'Bärenhöhle'.
Three courses for every skill level
Choose according to your time and ambition: the blue beginners' course covers 10 targets and can be completed in around 2 hours — ideal for getting started and for families with children. The yellow course leads through the forest with 22 targets over about 3 to 4 hours, while the red course challenges ambitious archers with 32 targets. Children are welcome from age 8 when accompanied by an adult; under-18s may not use the course on their own. One more thing: compound bows are not permitted on the course.
