On the Rittisberg Coaster in Ramsau am Dachstein, you whizz down into the valley along 1,330 metres of track – and with a brake lever, the speed is entirely up to you. The coaster winds its way through meadows and forest at up to 9 metres above the ground, and the ride from start to finish takes around 6 minutes. Best of all: children from as young as 3 can ride along with an adult, and all around the track the entire Rittisberg adventure mountain awaits with play stations, a climbing park and cosy alpine huts. From your hotel in Schladming, you're there in about 15 minutes – perfect for half a day of family fun.
