Half day to full day · 1–4 people per flight · from 60 €4,8 km
A tee shot with the Dachstein at your back and glittering water surfaces in front of you — the Golfclub Schladming-Dachstein in Haus im Ennstal doesn't carry its nickname "Pebble Beach of the Alps" for nothing. Golf legend Bernhard Langer designed the 18-hole championship course at 750 m above sea level to challenge and delight beginners and ambitious players alike. Between ponds, gentle fairways and the panorama of the Schladminger Tauern, you can golf here from spring right into the golden autumn. Just around 15 minutes' drive from Schladming, a golfing day awaits that combines sporting challenge with genuine Alpine indulgence — restaurant right on the course included.
What awaits you
The 18-hole championship course was designed by Bernhard Langer — with the declared aim of creating a course that stays with players of all handicap classes forever. Its trademarks are the generous water landscapes that give the course its Florida flair, combined with the mountain panorama of the Dachstein and the Schladminger Tauern. The club is one of the Leading Golf Courses of Austria. Alongside the course you'll find a driving range, a golf academy, a pro shop and a restaurant right on the grounds — perfect for a bite after your round.

Insider tips
Be sure to book your tee time in advance by phone on +43 3686 2630 or via the online booking system — in high summer the flights fill up quickly, while things are more relaxed at the start of the season. Bring your handicap certificate; guests are welcome every day. Especially rewarding: an early bird round in the morning, when the Dachstein lies in the first light and you save on the green fee too. If you're staying at one of the partner hotels, you benefit from the reduced green fee — just ask when booking.
