Hopsiland Planai — Styria's highest playground
Half day to full day · easy · families with children, 2–8 people · from 0 €3,5 km
An entire mountain as a playground — that's exactly what awaits you at Hopsiland on the Planai. At over 1,800 metres, right by the top station of Schladming's home mountain, the little ones climb, slide and splash about at marble runs and water play areas while you enjoy the panorama of the Dachstein and the Schladminger Tauern. Around four kilometres of pushchair-friendly themed trails lead from station to station, and mascot Hopsi joins in almost daily in summer. The best part: entry is free — you only need a gondola ticket — and from our hotel you're at the valley station in just a few minutes. A perfect family day out, with no car journey at all.
